Liturgy and Worship

  • Cantor/Song Leader for Liturgies: Help lead and enhance worship for our Liturgies through voice and song.
  • Choir Member: Enhance weekend liturgies through song.
  • Resurrection Choir: Join in to sing at Parish Funerals.
  • Instrumentalists: Enhance the liturgies through your ability to play a musical instrument.
  • Altar Server: Assist the presider at liturgies mainly on weekends (5th grade and older, including adults)
  • Minister of Hospitality, Usher: Greet, welcome and direct the flow of people during Mass.
  • Minister of the Word, Lector: Proclaim the word of God at Mass.
  • Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion: Assist in the distribution of Eucharist during Mass
  • Sunday Liturgy of the Word for Children: Share the Gospel message at Sunday liturgies
  • Coordinator for Liturgies: Confirms the attendance of the liturgical ministers for weekend Masses.
  • Sacristan: Wash and dry cruets, bowls and sacred vessels after Mass.
  • Wash Communion Linens: Wash and prepare liturgical linens.
  • Hospitality Weekend

Social Committee

Help with special parish projects and events.

Brown Bag Lunch Program

Prepare lunches for those in need.

BeFrienders

A listening ministry to assist those in need.

Help at HealthSource

Bring residents from their rooms to the chapel for Word and Communion Services.

Donate Refreshments

You would be called to donate refreshments for special parish events.

Prayer Line

Pray for people and their needs.

Jail/Prison Ministry

Volunteer to provide prayer and support to inmates.

Parish Nurse

Provide medical care and information on health issues to our parish.

Faith Formation and Discipleship

OCIA, Order of Christian Initiation

  • Adults & Children of Catechetical Age
  • Guide those who wish to become members of the Roman Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Children – Grades K-6
Adults
Youth – Grades 7-12

Parish Council and Commissions

  • Parish Council: The Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners consultative to the pastor for strategic planning and goals of the parish.
  • Finance Council: The Finance Council is consultative to the pastor to assist in the administration of the parish – financial and property. Nominations are held in the spring.
  • Worship Commission: Help plan and prepare for Mass including decorations of worship space throughout the year.
  • Faith Formation and Discipleship Commission: Group of parishioners who help with the education/formation ministry of the parish from adult enrichment through faith formation of our children.
  • Christian Service Commission: Group of parishioners who help with the service and outreach ministries of the parish.
